About Children's Experimental Theatre/Staff Players Repertory Company

Children's Experimental Theatre (CET) is the oldest classical children's theatre arts conservatory on the Central Coast, founded in 1960. CEToffers varied programs for young people pre-k - grade 12, including a school-year long conservatory program, Sept. - June, culminating in the free Spring Play Festival over the first two weekends in June, the four-week Summer Intensive, varied seminars and the Traveling Troupe, CET's premiere outreach children's touring group serving the public school districts of Monterey County free of charge since 1966. Staff Players Repertory Company (SPRC), the adult company, offers a full 6-8 show season of the greats of classical theatre and new works, Sept. - May, from Moliere to Ibsen, Shaw to Betti, Pirandelo to Havel.
