as the (BSU) Black Student Union Club Organization of Hartnell Community College, we are African American Students ranging from 18-65yrs. of age and is here to promote cultural awarness amoung the African American students in the community college system . Also, one of our missions is mentoring youth, providing community service and outreach to students, scholarships, and providing leadership skills, and establishing support and services to our African American students on campus and surrounding communities, acting as a buffer and brigdge so that the African American student's transfer to Higher Education will be more successfull
