Labor Day weekend has always been the weekend for the Reggaefest, this year we have been forced into changing the festival dates to July 30, 31 and August 1, 2010. This year as in the past promises a momentous event, which includes a stellar line up of performers. 62nd Annual Obon Festival of the Monterey Peninsula. July 13, 2008 noon to 7pm at The Monterey Peninsula Buddhist Temple, 1155 Noche Buena, Seaside. Opening Ceremony with Taiko performance at noon. Japanese food, Ikebana & Bonsai exhibits, several martial arts demonstrations, classical Japanese dancing, Make & Take Asian Arts and Crafts, and an Asian Store.
